Brighton Weekender

Brighton Weekender - A firm fixture in the New Untouchables calendar, August bank holiday will see the Mod Scene return to its spiritual home. A really good buzz has been building since the turn of the year, last year’s party will be hard to eclipse but we will have a jolly good go. Brighton is the most popular UK seaside resort so we firmly suggest you book hotels and tickets now, see the links below.

Sat & Sunday daytime are at the Volks Tavern 200 yards east of Brighton Pier (where the scooters arrive in the iconic film Quadrophenia) The venue has a well stocked bar and serves food all day complete with outside terrace and entry is FREE both afternoons. Live bands Saturday afternoon include The Faith Keepers from Spain and Hypnotic Eye from London. Sunday will be the eagerly anticipated Scooter competition held outside the Volks at 15.00 followed by a cruise. Both days will feature open decks DJ sessions and Market selling records, vintage and bespoke clothes, art and memorabilia.

All evening events are at Brighton’s best venue the fabulous Komedia Theatre in the buzzin’ lanes area.

The venue boasts two rooms fully air conditioned, two well stocked bars with friendly staff. The main room has a huge wooden dancefloor with low ceiling and plenty of seating around the edges complete with kicking sounds system and all night licence!

We have sold out all three nights the last few years. Tickets go on sale Friday 19 April to members of our network as priority for the first two weeks, you can join the network here  it takes just five minutes to set up your profile and you will be sent a unique network code in order to purchase you ticket through the Komedia. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale Friday 3 May and we strongly advise you get a ticket in advance from the box office here
