“NUTsMag – March towards Le Beat Bespoké 8! Welcome to the third edition of our Magazine. As we approach Le Beat Bespoké 8 the suspense is building and we are here to give you a taste wherever we can – we don’t want you to suffer by your lovely lonely selves! A rather stoic interview with The Trashmen awaits your scrutiny as we anticipate their speaking through guitars. Our friend and correspondent Holly Calder interviewed The Poets and they told us a little about themselves and what they will provide. Other than that we’ve got two interviews with some of the young blood, one of them from LBB8, The Screamin’ Vendettas, whom we’re confidant have more than masks and words for us coming up. Your faithful servant, the editor Eron Falbo, myself, recorded a special NUTsCast this issue with the best of the artists from LBB8. Next issue we’ll have the best of the DJ playlists. The Horrors multi-instrumentalist and singer Rhys Webb is as some may know, also a DJ, we’ve interviewed him for our exciting column ‘Hey Mr DJ’. As ever, please also browse by sections: Style & Design, Audio/Video, Reviews & Recommendations, Interviews, History, Essays, Comedy and lots more!”
“NUTsMag – Hi NUTs friends, welcome back… It’s been a tough process of recuperation from LBB8. There was enough there to keep all of us awake for four days in a row. Then there’s hangovers and the post-apocalyptic feeling that is natural to all events we wait the whole year for. Now we’ve got our breath back and we’re ready to continue delivering the content you should be accustomed to receiving. We’ve got a couple of articles detailing some of the excitement that went on in LBB8, Arthur Gunn gave us a holistic overview and Drewe Shimon described the elaborate and daring 8-Hour Technicolour Dream that we put on against all odds. Few bands are more authentic and inspiring to us as 60’s gem, the Action. Mark Raison was lucky enough to catch drummer Roger Powell for an interview that will blow you away. The much awaited second issue of Doctor Robert Prescribes is fresh out of the oven. We have three NEWBREED interviews, two Austrian nuggets The Jaybirds and Wild Evel & the Trashbones, who kept their trousers on throughout the interview and of course soul sensations the Pepperpots, proving that the Spanish revival is as real as legends claim. Part Two of the interview with Don Fardon generously provided by Ugly Things. Mousetrap 21st Anniversary Party, if you didn’t go, be inspired for lucky 22. Finally the much awaited second part to Max Galli’s overview of the Sexy Sixites. As ever, please also browse by sections: Style & Design, Audio/Video, Reviews & Recommendations, Interviews, History, Essays, Comedy and lots more! *Stop Press* Pip!
